Chapter meetings are held the third Thursday of every month except December, when we usually hold our Next Meeting, which is scheduled and announced each year, see information at left.
Our meetings are now being held in person, at the auditorium of the O. Winston Link Museum.
Meetings begin at 7:30 PM and usually have a business portion that lasts between a half-hour and an hour, a short break, and then a program. Most meetings are over by 9:30 PM.
Our programs feature many different aspects of rail history wth videos, speakers, and slide presentations.
Any Chapter meeting, board, membership or committee are cancelled by notice here or by weather related causes as per the following policy:
Any Chapter meeting will be considered cancelled if any of the following conditions are due to weather: Roanoke City Schools are closed on the day of or for the day after the meeting, or Virginia Western night classes are cancelled for the night of a meeting.
